Guido W. Imbens (The Applied Econometrics Professor and Professor of Economics at Stanford Graduate School of Business) gave the Tinbergen Institute Econometrics Lectures 2018.

Professor Imbens’ research lies in the areas of econometrics and statistics and focuses on developing methods for drawing causal inferences in observational studies, including methods based on matching, instrumental variables, and regression discontinuity designs.
