Placement Mark Kagan: Amazon

PhD student Mark Kagan has accepted a position at Amazon in Seattle, United States. As of June, Mark will start working as an economist at Amazon.

Mark is a TI PhD candidate in economics at VU Amsterdam. He expects to defend his dissertation entitled ‘Issues in Climate Change Economics: Uncertainty, Fossil Fuel Scarcity and Renewable Energy R&D’ in June 2015.

His research interests include the economics of climate change, resource economics, risk, and uncertainty. He is an alumnus of the TI MPhil program (2011) and holds a Bachelors of Science in Economics, Computer Science and Mathematics from Brandeis University, United States.
