David Veenman appointed Professor of Financial Reporting

TI fellow David Veenman has been appointed as endowed professor of Financial Reporting and Valuation at the Erasmus School of Economics (EUR), on behalf of the Trustfonds EUR, as of mid- July 2014.

David Veenman’s main research interests include the role of financial reporting and other disclosures in public company valuation, and the effects of economic incentives of managers, analysts, and investors on important patterns and developments observed in financial markets. David Veenman holds a PhD (cum laude, 2010) in business economics (accounting) from the University of Amsterdam. Since 2011, he has been working as an associate professor in financial accounting at the Erasmus School of Economics.
