Best PhD Paper Award for Hugo Silva Montalva

TI PhD student Hugo Silva Montalva received the award for best PhD Paper for his research on ‘Input third-degree price discrimination by congested facilities’.

The prize was awarded during the 3rd Symposium of the European Association for Research in Transportation (hEART), held at the Institute for Transport Studies of the University of Leeds, United Kingdom from 10-12 September 2014.

The hEART symposium is an interdisciplinary research conference, covering all areas of transportation research, with a focus on quantitative methods and analysis of transport systems. hEART’s objective is to promote excellence in transportation research in Europe, with a strong emphasis on the promotion of PhD students and young researchers.
