Fellow Bernd Heidergott Appointed Professor Stochastic Optimization

Research fellow Bernd Heidergott who has been appointed as professor of Stochastic Optimzation as of August 1, 2013 at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the VU Amsterdam.

Bernd is a  member of the Department of Econometrics and Operations Research at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEWEB) of the VU Amsterdam. Bernd is also research fellow at EURANDOM. His research interests center on mathematical methods, gradient estimation, differentiation theory, taylor series expansions and max-plus algebra. In 2009 Bernd received the FEWEB Best Lecturer Award.
