Biography

Ton van den Bremer is an Associate Professor in Environmental Economics at the School of Economics, the University of Amsterdam (part-time) and an Associate Professor in Environmental Fluid Mechanics at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences, TU Delft. He holds a DPhil (PhD) in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford (2015) and a PhD in Climate Economics from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (2019). His research at the University of Amsterdam will focus on the effect of macro-economic and climate uncertainty on optimal climate policy, including adaptation.
