Biography

Tomislav Ladika is an associate professor of finance at the University of Amsterdam, joining in 2012 after a PhD in Economics from Brown University. Tomislav's current research studies the growing reliance on intangible assets and human capital across the economy, in particular how this transition affects corporate investment and employee retention. He teaches both corporate finance and investments at the Masters level, and specializes in teaching computer programming applications in finance. Further, he is currently Program Director of the MSc Finance at the University of Amsterdam, and he co-founded the Junior European Finance seminar series with a goal of strengthening research networks across European schools.
